Alan works as a lighting cameraman and editor in the television industry. He is a Master Member of the Institute of Videography with a Fellowship nomination for his camerawork. Alan has High Definition, DVCam, and DV shooting and editing facilities at his base in south west London.
During his twenty year career, his broadcast clients have included: ITV, BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, Disney Channel, BSkyB, NHK (Japan), UKTV and Wizja (Poland). He has worked on children’s, comedy, current affairs, documentary, drama and wildlife programming as well as promotions.
Corporate clients include Air Seychelles, Airtours, BMG Records, Eurostar, IBM, Jamaica Tourist Board, Polydor, RAC and Southern Electric
Alan produces the filming of educational, schools and special events (includes shooting, editing and DVD production) as well as working with several communications companies for the media training of their clients. He is also a trainer in camera/editing techniques.
Alan is currently involved in shooting a documentary series, in association with the Imperial War Museum, on the Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II. This has entailed working in France, Belgium and all over Britain, including Buckingham Palace.
